5 to 19 February 2006 ~ Kisubi Hospital (Uganda)
The Doctors Franco C atalino (gynecologist), Massimo Furniture (Surgeon) and Domenico Sicolo (gastroenterology) have lent their services on behalf of our NGO in Kisubi, rural center between Entebbe and Kampala on the shores of Lake Victoria in Uganda. This small hospital run by Catholic nuns, thanks to our intervention is becoming a reference center for the entire community.
were carried out numerous free of charge and with the help of our supporters have been invested in medical supplies approximately 11 . € ooo for the purchase of:
- A new operating table
- A new gynecological
- different sets of surgical instruments
- Miscellaneous equipment needed for the operating room (trolleys instruments)
- Purchasing an analyzer capable of doing 18 blood tests
- Fund for hospitalization of children
We also purchased two garden games that have been placed outside the pediatric ward of the hospital. Very large
